Go Canada!

Hunter Kemper is setting up his transition right behind us (to the right of my head).
Yes, I'm a geek and not ashamed.
Beautiful Swim Course, bike malfunction (front brake stuck "on" the entire race) are you kidding me? I can't even talk about it. You can just imagine my disgust. Super run course. Mack Daddy in T1 and T2, I was 26th place in T1 and and 15th place in T2 out of 1140 racers. Andy Potts was driving around with Greg Bennet in a golf cart after the Pro's finished (Benno was driving the golf cart), and Andy was so sweet and pulled his golf cart over and stopped my son, Ike, and asked Ike if he could sign his cast on his broken arm. What a neat moment for Ike. Andy also signed Ike's "GO MOM" poster...Andy also wrote "Go Mom" (seriously, how cool is that!)

Hunter Kemper

Hunter Kemper is so humble and truly genuine. At every triathlon expo he takes time to listen to your stories and laugh with you. I told him how i've been trying to copy the way he holds his hands when he runs (like this is going to make me faster or something) he laughed and told me the secret is "just to relax" and let my hands fall into that relaxed place. What do you know, I tried it, and it worked. I'm such a dork.
